"Town of Trees and Champions" - Captains Quarters is located on a quiet back section. Cambridge is centrally located in the Waikato, which makes it the perfect place for travelers to locate themselves for several days. Cambridge has many attractions including Thoroughbred Studs, Lake Karapiro, heritage trail walks, jet boating, harness and greyhound racing, golf, Maungatautari Ecological Island, museums, wineries plus many sporting activities and cultural events throughout the year.
Rotorua, the Waitomo Caves, Candy Land, Tauranga and Hobbiton are all within an hours drive.
