The sport fishing in this part of the country is simply fantastic - you can even collect handfuls of fresh shellfish right here on the shores of Bream Bay. The kids will have a ball spending long days playing at the beach while you relax.
Camp Waipu Cove offers modern Kitchen Cabins which sleep up to 5 (complete with outdoor BBQs) and two spacious self contained cabins (sleeps 5) complete with free to air tv and DVD - a great choice for couples and small families who would rather not have to unpack camping equipment! Camp Waipu Cove also offers both powered and non-powered campsites so you can bring your motorhome, tent or caravan for a real kiwi beach holiday. There are two children's playgrounds and large, clean amenity blocks which house the camp kitchens, bathrooms and laundries.
Being just a 1.5 hour drive from Auckland Airport also makes us an ideal 'first stop' on your campervan tour of New Zealand!
