Breakers Motel is a unique getaway on the Coromandel peninsula tucked in by a reserve bordering on the Whangamata estuary. All units have sky TV and a well equipped kitchen, some have private decks with spa pools and others are located on the edge of the large swimming pool.

Breakers is an attractive two story building (completed in late 1999) resembling a "wave" consisting of four two bedroom suites, eight one bedroom units and eight studio units.
All units are equipped with Sky TV - not that you'll be watching much with all the things to do in Whangamata!
The two bedroom units are found both upstairs and downstairs at either ends of the building. They have a well equipped kitchen with a microwave, two ceramic hob cookers and a fridge freezer, separate dining are, lounge and two bedrooms.
Added to this is a double sofa sleeper in the lounge . There is a queensize bed in the bedroom adjoining the bathroom and two singles in the second bedroom. There is a second television in the queensize bedroom with Sky TV.
Whangamata has many open air caf's which offer a wide variety of foods for the discerning palette. From Italian style Rossini's to the vegetarian based Glad, there is something to tempt everyone. For the best coffee in town, Vibes Caf is the place to go...
There are also many restaurants to enjoy, and plenty of 'fast food' outlets. To avoid a long wait for your Fish 'n' Chips, it would pay to call your order in by phone during the summer months.
