Facilities
Our clean, modern units are well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. With a fully equipped kitchen in each unit you can cater for yourself - if you don't want to sample one of the many great eating-out options in the area that is. If you choose to stay in you can relax in front of the TV with Sky TV available in every room.
For those wanting to enjoy the outdoors we have boogie boards available for guest use, and barbeques for those frequent sunny days.
The business traveller is well catered for with a phone in every room and a fax machine also available.

White Island
Just 50 kilometres offshore, this awesome active marine volcano is a once in a lifetime experience.
Fishing
The seas around Ohope abound with fish and our local Big Game Fishing Club holds a number of New Zealand and world record catches.
Dolphins
There are often large pods of dolphins in the area and charters will take you out from Whakatane for the amazing experience of swimming with these friendly creatures.
Golf
Ohope boasts an excellent golf course that's only a 10 minute drive from the motel. You don't have to be a member to play there.
Walking
We are always happy to take you to the start of the Kohi Point Walkway where you can enjoy one of the most picturesque short sea walks in the world. The end of the walk is only a few hundred metres from the motel. And of course there is always the 11-kilometre long beach.
