Pacific Adventures is based in Ohope Beach, in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. We like to think of it as the 'Gateway to paradise'.
Pacific Adventures evolved out of our passion for the outdoors. For years we recreated in New Zealand's outdoor playground making the most of what the local environment had to offer. When Sarah and I,Mike, travelled we always had an urge to get out and do something physical and so our trips were usually based around some form of physical activity. We felt that we're not alone in our thinking and as a result have put together tours that combine travel with activity. You can catch up with the history, culture, fauna, flora, geography, geology and breath taking scenery of New Zealand as you travel by bike, kayak or on foot.
One of our favourite ways of travelling has been cycle touring. Our experience and enjoyment of this self sufficient means of travel has led us to develop a special cycle tour around New Zealand's spectacular East Cape. We also organise tours to New Zealand's best cycling spots.
What we have to offer is small, friendly, personalised tours. Ten is our maximum size, between six and eight is our preference. Our tours will take you to many special places, places where we like to leave as little impact as possible - 'leaving only footprints'
