Tanners Point is close to Waihi Beach (10 km) and offers some of the most stunning views in the Western Bay of Plenty. Situated in a lovely quiet location, less than 200m from the all-tide boat ramp, "Harbour Rise" affords a picturesque vista of Tauranga Harbour, with the Kaimai Ranges as a back-drop to the west, and Matakana Island and the Pacific Ocean to the east.
On the ground floor, there is a large lounge opening onto a veranda and deck, where you can enjoy cooking on the BBQ and dining under the shade sail. There is a 94cm LCD screen TV set with Freeview in the lounge as well as a small library. There is also a conservatory set up as a dining room. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped, with breakfast bar and table, and flows from the lounge. The views from all windows throughout the home are magnificent.
Accommodating up to 7 guests, 2 of the 4 bedrooms are situated on the ground floor: a queen-bedded room which opens out onto the veranda and a double bedroom. Also on this floor is a bathroom with both bath and shower unit and a separate toilet.
A laundry room with washing machine and tub is at the foot of the stairs. On the 1st floor there is a double bedroom, a further single bedroom plus a shower and toilet.
The secluded terraced garden at the rear of the property boasts a number of native trees and shrubs, and there is an ornamental fish pond at the front. You will find plenty of room to park a boat and two cars on the front driveway.
You can access a lovely sheltered cove, fringed with mature pohutukawa trees, through a 150m right of way which runs alongside our property & through a neighbouring property down to the Harbour.
Tanners Point is very close to Katikati, Waihi and only 40km from the cosmopolitan city of Tauranga, with its myriad of shops and nightlife.
We are in an ideal relaxing location, conveniently situated in a central position for three of the Rugby World Cup venues - Auckland: 2h away, Rotorua: 1h30 and Hamilton: 1h40.
