Situated right on the Pacific Coast Highway (State hyway 2). great location 10 - 20 mins drive to a number of local beaches, bush walks and waterfalls etc for year round fun in the Bay of Plenty.
Only 5 min walk to Te Puke town, 2 supermarkets, a cinema and buses also stop in Te Puke. Phone or txt and we can even pick you up from Te Puke Bus stop. About 30 mins drive to Tauranga or Rotorua.
Accommodating 60+ beds, we offer all the usual slef-catering backpacker facilities, cheap internet facility (Zenbu Wireless), Intercity agency, BBQ available for groups.
The main hostel offer tidy 4, 6 & 8 bed share dorms; $26, $25 & $22 p/p per night.
A separate building offers more peaceful private space which suits couple or small groups of up to 14 people. Common areas include open planned kitchen, dining, lounge & bathroom facilities. Private double room rate $60 per night. There is also a $140 night room accommodating up to 5 people with a private toilet/shower room.
If parking up in your own van or pitching a tent is your preference then find a spot that suits you for only $15 per day or $90 wk per person & enjoy our hostel facilities.

Seasonal work? We have helped a lot of people over the years to find local seasonal work by networking with local employers. Expect to take a week or two to find a job, perhaps you can also get lucky and find work fast, you will need to commit to staying at our backpackers. We can often help arrange transport.
You will need a valid working permit, working holiday visa etc, IRD number, bank account, and be prepared to work 1 - 3 months. Most of the work in this area is seasonal kiwifruit work.
