Pasador is a modern purpose built sportfisher and has been the top Tauranga based charter launch for the last three years. We support Tag and Release and the majority of our billfish catch is released.The Bay of Plenty is known for its white sand beaches, sub tropical climate and fishing.
The offshore islands in the Bay, which include the world renowned Mayor Island abound with gamefish. Striped, Blue and Black Marlin, Shortbilled Spearfish, Broardbill, Hammerhead, Mako, Tiger ,Thresher and Whaler Sharks, Yellowfin, Big Eye, and Blue Fin Tuna, Albacore, Skipjack, Yellowtail, Mahi Mahi, Kahawai, Trevally, Groper, Bass, and Snapper. New Zealand's Striped Marlin and Yellowtail have been described as 'The Biggest in the World' The biggest Striped Marlin and the two largest Yellowtail ever caught were caught here.
Pasador is a fast purpose built sportfisher. Launched in December 1990, Pasador has already won the Tauranga Gamefishing Clubs coveted trophy for Top Charter Vessel in the 1994/95 and 1995/96 seasons as well as being top equal in the 1993/94 season.
Pasador is 42ft and accommodates up to six anglers plus crew in comfort. Pasador is fully equipped for day and extended live aboard charters. She features a large cockpit, fully equipped galley, spacious saloon, hot showers, toilet and comfortable sleeping accommodation.
