Hidden away in a picturesque native bush setting only 15km from central Tauranga, Maddix Motorcycle Park has been used for close to 50 years by locals seeking to hone their skills and pump adrenaline riding the old timber-pulling tracks and creeks that criss-cross the property, or hitting the motocross jumps in the clearings.
Maddix is an offroad bike park catering for motorcycles and quads. There is a main MX track for seniors & juniors with separate track for minis plus 2km and 15km native bush trail loops.
The trails feature grassland, gorse, clay, creeks, rocks, tight tracks through native forest and flowing runs and hills. It's an ideal park for riders of all abilities.
The MX tracks are regularly maintained and daily updates are posted on the website www.maddixpark.co.nz.
The park is open 7 days during the summer from 8.30am until dusk, weather permitting. Drinks & nibbles are available and there is a free sausage sizzle on Sunday at lunchtime and on Thursday from 6pm for twilight riders. During the winter the park is closed on Mondays & Tuesdays.

Entry fees: Mini rider $10, Junior $15, Senior $20, Family $40. Friends of Maddix receive a discount. Eftpos is available.
