Enjoy an entertaining, scenic cruise of the coastal Bay of Plenty on a trip with "Kewpie" Cruises.
Kewpie is a 46ft solid kauri classic ferry boat, which is well known from its days running the world renowned Bay of Islands Cream Trip. It's now got a new owner who has been working hard to renovate the boat's interior.
The boat boasts a large, airy saloon with comfortable seating plus a spacious upper deck. There's a BBQ onboard plus new CD sound system with LCD screens that are ideal for watching sporting events while on the boat.
Also new are a gas central heating system and covered deck, meaning Kewpie can operate year-round.
Kewpie can accommodate up to 60 passengers. A full bar service is also available onboard, making it an ideal boat for parties, cruises and fishing trips.
Several cruise options are available, including a Buffet Harbour Cruise, a Budget Harbour Cruise and a BYO Cruise. The options cover any meal requirements, whether you group wants all the work done for you, or if you wish to bring a potluck onboard and cook for everyone.
There's also the Daytime Island Stopover Cruise, which includes a stop at one of the Bay of Plenty's islands for swimming, scenic walks or just relaxing.
A minimum of 25 people is needed for any cruise. All cruises depart near the Kestrel along the Strand in Tauranga.
