When opening the Deli on Devonport in 2004, owners Peter and Anne Blakeway had a vision to create a clean, modern environment in which to sample delicious gourmet food, influenced by European culinary methods coupled with fantastic local Bay of Plenty produce.
A fabulous brunch menu, as well as delicious salads, sandwiches and patisserie can be eaten on site, together with wonderful Italian coffee. Gourmet meals to go, cheese, meats, antipasto and pantry items can be purchased to take home.
The deli also caters for small dinner parties at home, picnics for the boat or bach or large parties at a venue of your choice.
Peter teaches at the Deli on Devonport's popular Cookschool two or three times a week.
