Central Plateau Fishing specialises in fly fishing for Rainbow and Brown trout in the Central North Island/Lake Taupo region of NZ. We cater for novices to experienced anglers. Guiding people on remote back country, wilderness streams and rivers as well as Taupos spawning tributaries. Half day to multi day options. Fly fishing, boat fishing, quad bike adventure fishing, heli fishing, hut and riverside cottage stays.
Fully catered - Light refreshments on half days, delicious homemade lunches and refreshments on full days. Gourmet and celebration hampers on request. Quality gear- rods, waders, tackle. Pick up and drop off to Taupo accommodation. Please wear warm comfortable clothing, woolly socks for fly fishing, hat, sunblock and bring your camera. Visa and mastercard facility.

We operate everyday of the year except for Christmans Day. 1 - 2 pax per guide. Larger groups catered for with hand picked quality guides.
Boat charters - 5 pax maximum.
8am or 1pm departures for half day fly fishing trips. Return approx 12.30 or 5pm
8am - 4.30 / 5pm full day
