The Golf Course at the Rotorua Golf Club is named "Arikikapakapa" which means "The gentle sound of plopping mud". The course is a par 70 - 5,800.00 metres providing variety and challenge, with some holes playing over and around dormant thermal areas. There are a choice of four different tee placements for players of all levels. The course is close to all major hotels and motels, and opposite Te Puia, the NZ Maori Arts and Craft Institute.
