The "Country Cottage" concept is very popular with New Zealand travellers when going to Britain and Europe and now is starting to "catch on" within New Zealand with more "cottages" becoming available.
Nicara Lakeside Cottage stands in its own grounds with superb lakeside views, a small beach and jetty. The boat shed will house a small runabout. The boat ramp ensures no time is wasted for those who want to fish or enjoy water sports. The gardens are beautiful and there is a covered area outside to enjoy a drink or BBQ as the sun goes down. Along the complete front of the cottage is a wide elevated deck,an ideal place to sunbathe or entertain.
Nicara Cottage is located at 40 Ranginui Street and is only 4 doors from Nicara Lodge where owners Heather and Mike Johnson live. They can assist with local knowledge and sightseeing opportunities. The Lodge based kayaks are also available to Cottage guests..
