Aotearoa Breweries NZ Ltd is an award winning family run micro-brewery. Our micro-brewed MATA beers are handcrafted in a boutique brewery in the sunny Eastern Bay of Plenty, New Zealand.
We recognise the importance of quality ingredients and in our beer the pure water, the largest beer ingredient, is Certified Organic Artesian Water sourced from a deep aquifer, also in the Eastern Bay.
MATA MANUKA is a clean, smooth tasting golden coloured ale edged with a hint of New Zealand's native Manuka honey. MATA Manuka is a unique beer which has its own distinctive flavour. Light honey notes and a slight residual sweetness.

MATA ARTESIAN is a refreshing, crisp-tasting light bodied ale which has characteristics of a lager, hopped with N.Z. Hallertau Aroma which is grown in the sunny Nelson Region of New Zealand.
