Mad about planes? Come and visit Classic Flyers NZ near the Tauranga Airport in Mount Maunganui. Our emphasis is on a high degree of aviation activity.
All the aircraft on display, including a Fletcher, Harvards and a Spitfire, are accompanied by an information sheet with details on the aircraft's manufacture and development with time plus specification data. This also applies to most other items such as aircraft engines, field artillery, cannons, machine guns, and WWII vehicles.
The AV Gas Licensed Caf, boardroom and conference facilities all overlook an array of operational classic and military aircraft and displays from the Bay of Plenty and New Zealand's aviation history.
