Waiteti Lakeside Lodge is situated on the shores of Lake Rotorua at the mouth of the Waiteti Trout Stream just 10 minutes from Rotorua City. One of our most talked about luxuries is our unique location where guests can enjoy surrounding views and tranquillity.
In our peaceful sanctuary there is plenty of clean fresh air, free from the infamous sulphur fumes. Waiteti Lakeside Lodge is close to all of Rotorua's visitor attractions, restaurants, geothermal wonders and Maori Cultural activities.
The traditionally styled lodge offers luxury private accommodation in Rotorua. There are three comfortable bedrooms, two with en-suites and one with a private bathroom. The en-suite rooms open onto balconies to enjoy spectacular views of Lake Rotorua and the Waiteti Stream. In addition we also have a private guest lounge with satellite television, video, library, pool table, and tea and coffee facilities.
Set in park-like grounds that extend to the waters edge, Waiteti Lodge has a private jetty and boat launching ramp. Brian can arrange guided fly fishing on the lodge's own charter boat or organise a float plane expedition, helicopter or 4-wheel drive to more remote locations. You are welcome to use one of our canoes, rods and fishing tackle and cast from the stream bank, private lakeside jetty, or from the private balcony outside your bedroom! Your catch can even be freshly smoked for a superb meal experience.
Your experienced hosts Brian and Val Blewett are available to advise you throughout your stay and ensure you have an enjoyable and memorable experience. Brian and Val will be most happy to organise and arrange bookings for all local attractions and activities and dining experiences. Waiteti Lodge also works closely with other professional backcountry and wilderness fly fishing and hunting guides such as Bay of Plenty local Miles Rushmer, featured on ESPN Outdoors.
