Aquarius Motor Inn is centrally located on Maunganui Road, about a 10 minute walk to the beach and to the main street with its cafes, restaurants, and bars. Club Mt Maunganui (incorporating Cosmopolitan Club, Bowling Club, abd Croquet Club) and the RSA are only a few minutes walk away. New World supermarket, and McDonalds are very close by.

Corporate rates are available for the commercial/business traveller. Tauranga Port and the industrial area of Hull Road/Newton St/Totara St are close-by. The Airport is 5 minutes away.
Tauranga City is a 10 minute drive over the Harbour Bridge, Rotorua is less than an hour away, Hamilton and Taupo under 2 hours, and Auckland just over 2 hours.
