The Cottage at Kauri Creek offers fine linen, a queen-sized bed, ensuite bathroom, kitchenette, breakfast provisions provided daily, fully equipped laundry, Sky TV, DVD, radio, and an MP3 and CD player.
It's your own private, secluded cottage where the silence is broken only by birdsong and the noises of the country. You can sit and look over the gully with a relaxing drink in your hand, watch the pukeko chasing the cows from the nests edging the creek, hear the waterfall, and hear the pheasants calling. The garden is rambling country style, 26 years old and full of old fashioned roses. You are welcome to wander where you will.
Katikati, five minutes away, boasts a fine selection of places to eat, a variety of shops, a museum and of course the famous murals in abundance along the streets. Waihi Beach is 15 minutes away with its harbour and ocean beach plus even more good cafes and walks for you to experience.
There is no end to the fun and adventures you can have in our area and then you can come back at the end of a busy day and simply relax, unwind and be yourselves in this cosy and luxurious cottage. No one will bother you but we will be there if you need help. You won't want to leave and we hope you'll return one day.
Kauri Creek is a smoke free zone and we say "No pets, please". In the reading room is a pull-out sofa bed so a couple of children could sleep there, but mostly we find people come here for that total escape from everyday stresses.
The tariff is $220 per night all year round and we promise to look after you.
