Stroll in the park
Oakridge Park is 6 kilometres south of Katikati in the beautiful Bay of Plenty. The cottage is set in two acres of park, well separated from the homestead. Feel free to roam at leisure through the grounds and make use of the pool. Enjoy a leisurely drink looking out towards Mount Maunganui in the distance and watch the birdlife in the park. Doves, pheasants and quail in abundance are permanent residents of the property.
King-size suite
We can accommodate up to four people in this well appointed two-bedroom cottage. There is a modern, heated bathroom with shower and separate toilet. Your hosts have travelled extensively over many years and know just how important these facilities are.
Relax in comfort
The spacious living area is well fitted out with a mix of antique pieces and comfortable seating. TV, stereo/CD radio and a selection of reading material are there for your enjoyment.
Self-sufficiency
Should you desire, an upmarket continental breakfast will be delivered to you each evening, which enables you to breakfast at your leisure without any intrusion from your hosts. The kitchenette contains a refrigerator, microwave, grill/oven, hot plate, and a full set of crockery, glassware and cutlery.
Family and friends
As we only accept one-party bookings, your privacy is ensured. The cottage is a great place for two couples or a family to enjoy a short break; it is also the perfect base for tourists looking to explore the Bay of Plenty and Coromandel regions. Golf Pacifica is a three-minute drive away and you can always sharpen up your chip shots in the park beforehand. A set of boules is available for petanque enthusiasts.
