Whatever your budget, Alpine Adventure Tourist Park has accommodation at a rate that will suit you.
Set in Hanmer Springs, in the South Island's North Canterbury, our park spreads over 19 acres.
Our largest facility, Bellbird Lodge, is available for groups or backpackers, while non-powered cabins are available for the budget-conscious.
Those wanting more comfort may stay in our motel-style self-contained units or kitchen cabins and campers enjoy generous-sized sites, powered or non-powered.
A fully equipped kitchen (with separate dining), laundry, games room and television room are available, and there's an outdoor barbecue area. There's a small on-site shop, card phone and internet access.
Alpine Adventure Holiday Park offers access to all the attractions of Hanmer Springs while providing a peaceful, safe environment. New Zealand families make us their holiday destination year after year.
While the adults relax in the shade of mature trees, or gather around the barbecue, the kids can play in the adventure playground, ride on the free bikes or play in the games room; the emphasis is on fun with a rope course challenge provided for older children.
Venture down into Hanmer Springs township, one of the South Island's most popular visitor centres. It's a short stroll to the town centre (around 20 minutes), or our shuttle bus will take you right there. You can explore the shops and cafs or take a dip in the world-famous Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spa. Summer or winter, don't forget to pack your bathing suit!
Centred in New Zealand's Alpine Pacific Triangle, Hanmer Springs, with its celebrated spa and winter skiing, has a long history as a tourist destination. This spectacular area is world-reknowned for its outstanding scenery, winegrowing, and whale watching, and offers premium adventure activities including horse trekking, white-water rafting, bungy jumping, four-wheel driving, tramping, fishing and hunting.
