Departing the HELiPRO Helicentre, we'll fly you west over the Canterbury Plains on track to the remote Southern Alps. Flying through the spectacular Waimakariri Gorge you'll enjoy a breathtaking flight through this world-renowned river canyon, gateway to the South Island's Main Divide. Passing the canyon we'll continue on to land at Flock Hill Station, one of the major filming locations for 'The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe' movie. Here you will see the Witches Mound, Chariot's Run, Aslan's Rock and the Battlefield. Experience the scenery that provided the backdrop to the famous movie scene known as 'The Flight of the Phoenix'.
Upon completion of your Flock Hill visit re-board your helicopter for a beautiful flight over the Ashley River and Lee's Valley on track back to the HELiPRO Helicentre.
