Athenree Hot Springs & Holiday Park is uniquely located in the sunny Bay of Plenty at the northern end of Tauranga Harbour, close to Waihi Beach. This all season destination has a tranquil, park-like setting where great memories are created and a relaxing holiday for the whole family is guaranteed.
Access to the natural hot mineral pools on the premises is free for guests. The pure, soft water feels wonderful to the skin. Both pools are drained and cleaned every evening so we can guarantee you will always find them immaculate. There are many activities and touring options in the Athenree area as well.
We offer a range of accommodation options from standard cabins, studio units and spacious 2-bedroom Motel Units and Deluxe Self Contained Chalets. Our tent and campervan sites are spacious and a number are shaded and sheltered. There is a trampoline, game room, TV lounge with SKY TV , a library and a children's playground and the ablution blocks are clean and tidy.
If you don't feel like eating out, the communal kitchen is equipped with anything you might need to prepare a nice meal. There is a BBQ and dining area, offering a fantastic spot to eat or to meet up with other campers for a chat.
